As we now have finished the first quarter of the year, I decided to share this post - it is an old one but it is great.  Written by Oliver Emberton who has a background in web software development, the article is called "Life is a game. This is your strategy guide"  It has been shared a stupid number of times.  Chances are you've seen it, but I stumbled across it again and thought I must share it in case you've not seen it.  

Either way it is a great reminder to TAKE STOCK of where we are at!

I like so many aspects of this article.  Firstly It reminds us that life actually is a game that we are ALL playing - there are highs, lows you name it!  The article starts out at the 'childhood' phase and goes through every main phase of our life.  The point that Oliver stresses throughout this article (note it is long) is the key to "winning" this game is:

• manage our resources,
• put time into the right things and 
• always be mastering where your time goes.

Simple and a great read, I think it will appeal to many different ages!
